Taking the Land

auditorium_small On April 20, during our monthly worship and prayer time, we heard God say, "The Angels have been dispatched to lay the land at your feet." On April 15, Pastor Rodney preached "Take the Land." In that message about the twelve spies, he spoke of how God wanted us to stop finding reasons why we couldn't possess the land and start believing His promise that we would possess the land. A few days later, a minister friend from Oklahoma told Pastor Rodney via the phone that God was going to make it happen quickly. April 21-22, E'Vann Walker encouraged us that we were going to be "favored" with the land. Also on April 22, the prophetic Word was fulfilled in a powerful way with the gift of over fifteen acres literally given to us as Pastor Rodney's feet stood on that very ground!

Down On Your Knees

When others try to push you down,

just look up to God.

You may have been used, abused,

put down, and thrown away by man.

In God you will find peace, comfort,

encouragement, and love.

The steps man takes to hurt you, God

uses them to strengthen and heal you.

The only reason to be down, is

on your knees in prayer to Him.

As I knelt in prayer today, a tear fell from my eye.

Cause we had not talked in a while.

Fear filled my heart as I began to speak.

What if You wouldn't listen or had forgotten my name?

I poured out my heart through my tears.

Still I heard no response, my heart ached in dispair.

I must be too late I thought.

Then I heard a gentle loving voice

"I heard and have not forgotten you."
